This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Trade Analytics and the Sales teams to ensure timely and accurate financial analysis. This includes but is not limited to reporting; forecasting and interpreting complex trade financial data to improve both efficiency and effectiveness of those spends. The role will surface both issues and opportunities with the field sale teams headquarter marketing and trade marketing. The role also acts as a consultative partner with Sales teams and Customer Marketing to improve profitability and promotional process and effectiveness. Responsible for analysis of event level profitability /ROI for trade and in-store marketing expenditures Reports analyzes forecasts and interprets financial and operating data. This may include profit/loss analysis customer proposals rate of return and any other ad-hoc analysis of interest to management. Works with Sales teams and Customer Marketing to improve profitability and promotional effectiveness and process. Advises on and recommends to management desirable operational adjustments. Reviews performance to plan and conducts variance analysis. Provides Decision driving insights and shares best practices across team and areas. Assists in the joint business planning process and performs volume/mix analysis to identify opportunity areas. Assists in cross-functional training as required. Assists in monthly financial review to include event performance and mix analysis. Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct. Education: Bachelor`s Degree required - BS Finance Years of Related Experience: 5-7 years related experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced PC skills including Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced understanding of financial analysis and accounting procedures programs and processes. Solid communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient use of automated reporting tools. Advanced skills in the development of financial comparative analysis. |
