| Position Responsibilities: |
Responsible for the budgeted case plan and trade promotion funds generated from the assigned territory of the Western Natural Channel including collaborating with the broker(s) on merchandise placement and display of product. Include but not limited to the following: 1. Collaborate with Western Natural Regional Sales Mgr. to develop and implement sales plans in order to meet or exceed agreed upon sales volume in assigned area. 2. Assist with trade spending budget within the guidelines of the brand strategies. 3. In conjunction with broker representation, oversee preparation of merchandise placement and displays coordinating pricing and promotion activities. 4. Responsible for working closely with the Western Natural Regional Sales Manager to stay within the spending parameters of the retail trade budget released annually by Marketing. 5. Assist with management of key broker relationships. 6. Maintain close working relationships with Customer Service to insure good communication of the districts promotional strategy and tactics. 7. Maintain a rolling forecast of the assigned sales volume on a monthly basis to be utilized for production planning and financial analysis. 8. Utilize internal operating systems to develop and maintain various sales reports needed on a weekly and monthly basis to properly manage the business. 9. Assist with identifying and analyzing local market dynamics to identify opportunities. 10. Gather competitive intelligence and communicate to the appropriate departments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree-Business and or Marketing 2-3 years of sales experience in natural food or beverage environment CPG background Highly visable position that may lead to higher level position in the future. |
