Position Responsibilities: If you`re as excited about the future as we are, consider this opportunity as an International Sr.Tax Analyst with a Leading-edge consumer products company. The majority of this role will relate to planning projects. There will be a portion of time spent on reviewing outsourced compliance, involvement in the year-end tax provision or other accounting work. This is a company very active in terms of acquisitions. The right individual for this role will need to have the ability to develop strong relationships between tax and the business people throughout the organization.
` If your background is in international tax compliance, this is the opportunity to move more into an international planning role; if you already have a background in international tax planning, this position allows you to continue and develop your planning and implementation skills and gain a broad base accounting and financial background;
` A blend of transactional and operational planning for a US headquartered multinational company with approximately 100 foreign affiliates;
` High exposure with senior management at the corporate headquarters as well as business people across the globe;
` Positive work environment ` team atmosphere; mentoring and professional development is a priority;
` Tax Department is highly respected by upper management.
Requirements:
` Minimum 3-5 years overall experience required, with 2+ years international tax experience with an emphasis on outbound planning; will consider candidates with international tax compliance experience.
` Bachelor`s degree in accounting; CPA and/or MST or JD a plus;
` Big 4 public accounting experience a STRONG plus;
` Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with cross functional departments and possess a strong team oriented personality;
` Willingness to role up your sleeves and get into the details;
` Willingness to create detailed spreadsheets/modeling, prepare accounting entries and prepare IRS IDR responses in addition to technical research;
` Willingness to take on new challenges and roles which may be unfamiliar to the candidate.
