Position Responsibilities: The Kellogg Company has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Strategy Associate in Battle Creek, MI. This position is responsible for the management of promotional projects for Kellogg`s Snacks Food Business Unit.
Primary functions include:
-Assists and influences the development of Annual Category/Brand Business Plan.
-Creates selling stories and monitors/reports on the execution of business plans.
-Works with Innovation Marketing, Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, Promotions, and Managers of Sales Strategy to commercialize proprietary information into sales-ready solutions/tools.
-Facilitates communication and feedback to/from Brand Marketing and Field Sales as the sales liaison for specific projects
-Serves as a key interface with internal departments, field sales, and external agencies/vendors as it relates to the tracking and execution of Package Work Requests (PWRs).
-Aids in delivering retail merchandising communications including Customer Business Plans, selling decks, and team presentations.
Minimum:
-HS Diploma/GED.
-Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
-Ability to work with people at varied levels of experience and authority.
-The position requires a high degree of computer experience and knowledge.
-Must be able to work with syndicated data (IRI), consumer (HH Panel, Spectra) and internal (SAP & BW) data and applications (CRM).
-Solid Excel/PowerPoint Skills.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
-Ability to prioritize projects and manage timelines a must.
-Ability to work across multiple teams and functions.
-Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules and specific time constraints.
-Ability to draw conclusions and address key opportunities.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
4 years of experience in the area of CPG (consumer packaged goods)
Kellogg experience is preferred
