Position Responsibilities: The Position:
Reporting to the Science & Innovation Manager, the Science Analyst will play a critical support role to New Chapter’s Science and Innovation team. Core responsibilities include:
• Clinical Study Execution & Analysis
o Work with world-class external laboratories and scientists to further development of New Chapter’s growing library of scientific studies.
o Assist in development and execution of primary clinical & pre-clinical research trials.
o Employ statistical and other analytical techniques, summarize results and present findings on primary clinical & pre-clinical research studies.
• New Product Development
o Working closely with team members (internal and external) Supporting development of new products for New Chapter’s growing line of dietary supplements.
• New & Existing Product Education
o Research and gather key product data for input into compelling educational presentations, packaging and other applications for New Chapter’s innovation, sales and marketing teams.
Ideally, the candidate must have solid knowledge of Excel and preferably Statistics. The individual will work independently yet will have heavy interaction with a team comprised of doctors, scientists, and herbalists. The person must be flexible and adaptable to change.

Candidate Criteria:
• Degree in biological sciences or related experience (Nutrition, Food Science, Microbiology, Herbal and Naturopathic studies).
• Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Experience or familiarity with statistics
• Detail-oriented & organized; strong project management skills
• Strong written and verbal skills
